Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against appropriate, identifiable material before publication and write so readers can distinguish established information from interpretation or suggestion. We avoid unsupported guarantees and do not present personal reflection as professional advice.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for relevance to the publication and its readers. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and material supplied by a partner is not treated as independent editorial reporting.

Corrections

If a reader identifies a possible error, they can contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review the point and, when a change is warranted, correct the text and make the nature of the change clear where appropriate.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid placements, sponsored material and other partner contributions are clearly identified as such, separate from independent editorial content. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; where used, they are identified so readers can tell illustrative imagery from documentary images.
